VW Golf GTI fuel consumption?

i want a VW Golf GTI for my next car and i was wondering how much fuel it uses every 100 km. i looked it up on google it said 4.5 liters every 100 km. is that right? and how much does it cost?

also if the fuel consumption is correct. the prius does 4.8 liter every 100 km. the GTI does 4.5 liters every 100 km. wtf it's not even a hybrid

Well to be honest i think it is the way you drive it as well. My dad had one as he works for a volkwagen dealer, and driving around town the computer was tellling him he had around 21 MPG , and going fast on the motorway and stuff, he had it anywhwere down to around 16 MPG. The site you have seen it on on google is obviously bullshitting you man.
