How do I prepare for my car's first car show?

I am entering my car in its first car show and I would like to know what I should or should not do, and what to expect. I want to be noticed, but don't expect to bring home "the big one" because my car isn't as classic as some of the others that will be there. I just want it to show well and have it enjoyed by many. I was told last year that I should have entered it, rather than park in the Chrysler reserved parking....so...
I have made it as correct as possible, detailed it about as well as anyone could, framed an ad from a car mag featuring my car. I have made a copy of the window sticker to post on the window- good idea or bad? I want to make a small fact sheet as to the model and production numbers of the model, and slip it under the frame of that car ad I mentioned.
What do I do to make the tire treads look good? Just leave them alone?
Any hints?
What should I bring along to detail it after getting it there?
