I own a shop, and we have done a lot of work like this over the years. You can purchase this, and everything you need is in the kit, and that includes instructions on how to do the cutout in the roof. A little know fact: Most "all" T-top cars leak water into the car, and onto the people inside, so this is something you should take into consideration. You can get a close idea of the cost like this. Use Yahoo search bar, and type in "custom T top kits", and you should come up with several companies that make them. This will give you the cost of the materials, and just add about 6-8 hours labor at $60-$80 per hour (depending on where you live), and you can get really close. You can also find a shop in your area that does these, and ask them to give you an estimate. You are looking for a body shop that does custom work such as the vans you see on the road that are fixed up.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

Why bother. Trade it in for a car that already has t-tops. It will be alot less headache in the end.
