Default i need help installing a boost gauge in my saab 9000 94.?

i have no clue how to run the tube through the dash. where exactly to i enter the dash? there is a white tube located in about the center of the rear of the dash, that protrudes into the engine cavitity about an inch. its plugged with a black cap but the cap can be removed. i don't know if this is an option or not? im thinking about mounting the gauge on the left hand side of the dash on the metal brace that holds the roof up. ??

any ideas? thanks
