Default Is it possible to get a running car for under $500?

I have a car, but I think it's going to need tires. If that's the case, then it's more of a good idea to buy another one [since mine is going to need more than just tires] What's the cheapest I should expect to get a running car for? I need it to last until at least december..

Well for only $500 dolars im not sure that you will get a nice looking car, but the least i think for a used car is around $1,000-$3,500.

Possible, yes. Likely, no. 500 dollars buys a car you can limp back to your house to put 200 or 300 bucks worth of parts into THEN drive regularly.

Raise your budget to about 1000 dollars, or you're going to be looking an awfully long time.

Go to an auto dismantlers and get yourself one there.

I had a neighbor that did that, they used to get a car, run it into the ground then go back to the junk yard and get another

You can buy 4 tires for $150. Why would you consider a new car if all you have is $500. All you'll be buying is problems. You've already got that with the car you own now.
