2001 Dakota Throttle Body Swap Problems..HELP?

I swapped out my v6 throttle body for v8 throttle body, a common mod among dakota owners. After changing everything and reconnecting the battery, i took it for a good drive and seems fine except for when stopping, i put it in park and the rpm's stay at 1000-1200. Then i noticed on start up it idles up and down from 800 to 1200 rpm's.

Please help, as this is a common job but i am having issues with this.
