'll the engine last? 2001 hyundai accent, this car burning alot of oil, i put additional oil in this car two times a month and the oil is not leaking. will it be a good idea to change the rings? How long will the engine last if i change the rings? I was told by someone that once i change the ring, i will be able to drive the engine for only one year. Please what should i do?

yes change the rings who ever told you that was taking the piss out u if you don't change them u could scatch the bore or even worse wear out you pistons and then your up for big dollars or a new engine.
