Default reconnecting wires to the starter on chevy 350?

i have a toyota FJ40, and it has the 350 out of an '83 pickup converted into it. i replaced the starter yesterday, and reconnected all the wires where they should have been based on where they were on the old one, but i don't get anything when i turn the ignition.

the only wires it had on the old starter are the red (from battery), a black and a blue, and i have tried every combination possible touching wires to the different ports on the starter.

i aslo checked the fuse to see if it went out for some reason, but it's good.

WTF????
