A car was handed down to me through my family, I need to put the title in my name. How do I go about writing a bill of sale for this or do I even need to? We dont want to pay any taxes...there is no need to...I live in Kansas in the KC area. Shouldnt the owner of the title be able to just sign it off to me?
I heard that they wont allow a bill of sale for a dollar...or 10 dollars anymore if the value of the car is worth way over that amount...like this car is still worth about 10K Is that true? |
