my 1994 dodge shadow 2.2 slips when i first put it in reverse. I need to know where the bands are and howto tighten the reverse bands. pictures would be a great help
I know how to work on my car i actually put the tranny in it. I know how to change the filter as i have done it in the past. I just need to know why it will not go right away when you first put it in reverse

When your in that kind of a doubt it's best if you'd take it over to a shop

everyone is telling you right on this one ,don't attempt to work on the transmission ,take it to a shop that does this kind of work, there's too many things that can go wrong and mess up the tranny, and that cost a lot more than paying a shop to adjust it,if ts slipping adjusting the bands may not help it anyway, have a transmission shop look at it,they will know what to do for it,good luck.
