Default Cobra engine vs Lightning Engine?

Hello,
Im was looking for a 5.4 lightning engine for a project I have and its about 5,500 with tranny on ebay. I searched the cobra engine and its about 8k WTF why is the cobra engine more expenisive the 5.4 is clearly a better engine with more power.
So what do I go with for the mustang gt project a lightning engine or a cobra engine both supercharged?
Fodaddy: are you sure the lightning cant handle that much power? I know someone that is running 10.00 flats in the quatermile with a lightning 5.4

The cobra engine is a 32 valve DOHC, it's more complex, the lightning engine is a SOHC 16 valve. The Cobra block can handle upwards of 900 HP with mostly stock internals. The Lightning engine cannot support that much power.

Cobra engine you dont have to worry about fabrication, you can just drop the engine in.
