Default Is it better to buy a standard or automatic truck as my first?

So i Just got my license at 17 after getting my permit and have been driving my moms semi auto F-150 to school and now my dad is loaning me money to buy my first truck that i want so I wanna know if i should buy a cluth truck or a semi auto truck. Keep in mind that im somewhat a nooby at driving and i dont know how to drive standard so i would have to learn with my dad or something. Id buy a semi auto truck but i hear standard isnt hard to learn and i want to just get it over with and have a reliable and stronger truck.
