Default I want to buy 2008 ninja 250r right before winter closedown. How much should I

offer. Paying in cash.? I live in Florida. How much should I offer (comprehensive: including registration, dealer prep, freight, etc.). I'm thinking $3,000 a week before they close down. But I also think $3,000 will be too ambitious because there is anything but shortage of customers for the 2008 ninja 250r.
Yes, I'll be keeping an eye on craigslist too. But I'd prefer a brand new bike. Please do not tell me to buy 650 or 750 or 1000. I dont have the money to pay for insurance (first year riding motorbike in USA, rode 3 years in my home country). I might upgrade later after my insurance price drops.

First off, it IS a good choice for a beginner sportsbike. I definitely won't argue for you going larger.

Good luck on getting ANY dealer to accept less than sticker on that little dude. Most of the dealers I know have sold out of their yearly allotments, and have waiting lists and deposits for any coming. As you alluded to, it's a hot bike. I wouldn't expect any different in Florida.

not going to get much of a winter close out in florida... so keep saving and when you decide you got enough go get one.. and the way most places are you can get a used one only a yr old for half the price and there will be nothing wrong with it
