I want to do an engine swap from my 1993 Mini Cooper, what is the largest engine

size I can put into it with.. ...the most cyclinders? Which garages in the UK would do this and how much would they charge to do it? How much will the engine cost, I want the largest possible engine to fit in the 1993 Mini Cooper. I want a petrol engine.

you should be able to fit a 2l vauxhall lump in there but it will need some major adjustments don to the body otherwise the whole body will twist when your giving it the big one but i would get it done with some help of a pro as it is a big jo and will cost around £100-£200 for engine + £5-£100 for gearbox and you need wiring chasie mods etc but if you want to go really mad I've seen a 4l v8 in a mini (was a tuning show low) i have no idea how much that will be
