1995 Suzuki Esteem Light Problem?

Hey I have a 1995 suzuki esteem GL and i've been driving it my life but after about 6 months ago when i push the break the lights seem to go out and the radio turns off, the problem has gotten worse and i have some ideas, could it be a short in the wiring connecting all the parts or is it the alternater inside the card that cause the car to run off only the battery instead of the motor PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

see if your fuses are `cracked` it is where the wire inside is not visibly broken, but is causing an open curcit.

Also check if your brake bulbs are the correct wattage.
