Why is the Infiniti G37 Coupe so ugly compared to its predecessor?

Why did Nissan change the car's looks? The G35 coupe looks a lot more aggressive and sporty while the G37 Coupe looks like a p***y car. Especially the back grill, and the spoiler looks like crap. Infiniti should remodel it back to the way it was.

its not I think it looks good the g37 is better and not competitor to g35 or 350z they are all basicly same car with different features based on 350z platform competitors includ rx 8 350z s2000 and any other grand touring cars like that

I don't think that the G37 coupe is ugly. My husband has the G35 and like you he says that his car looks better than the updated version. Nissan/Infiniti had to tweak the bodystyle a bit because it's been 4 years. Most car companies have to make those types of changes. At least they kep the changes to a minimum and it's not too drastic. What was really ugly was the original G35 4-door sedan. That thing was hideous!
