Default Is a Ford Falcon 64 w 98K miles a reliable car for a teen now. It needs to...

...last at least for 2 to 4 more years Its for me and i really like the car it looks great i know how lame that i like it but it has a lot of personality. I need people to convince my dad that it is a reliable car and that it should last long enough for me to finish high school. I have 2 more years but just in case i want to make sure that it will def last me at least 2 - 4 years. I will prob be using it to go to school, practice for the sports i play, movies and a lot of other things. I def need a reliable car that wont fail on me. I dont want to ask the owner because he will tell me what i want to hear to sell the car. I will need your help to convince my dad. If you have any other information on this car than that would be great too. Any info is helpful even if you tell me its not a reliable car and to not get it then it will still be a great help to learning more about it. Thanks guys! : )

It was quite a reliable (but unexciting) car 40 some years ago. Now it is so old that you should not be surprised if the whole thing fell apart when you start it up, it it has not been driven for a number of years. If it has been driven regularly and maintained, it should be fine. Remember that parts are not going to be that common anymore and that you won't have much of the safety equiptment we take for granted these days
