Default Ford Ranger

I had a 1999 ford ranger and I would recomend it. I recomend it mostly for the engine and durabitly. We towed a trailer that was 1000 pounds overweight dry! We drove from callifornia, to florida, to NY, and back to Calli. We had the pedal to the metal, and in low gear up the rocky mountians and we were moving at 5 MPH. but it just kept going. If you need a good pickup, I would get a ranger.

My friend had a late 80s model ranger. It was soooooo Ghetto! He used to have to short out something under the hood to get the lights to turn on. When he finally got a new F-150, he left the Ranger in the parking lot at work. It was there for 2 years! At one point during the first summer, it was infested with a Bee nest. The bees would sting people when they walked by. His company actually paid to have an exterminator come out and spray it.

Well, that is not the end of it. After 2.5 years, the company finaly told him to get rid of it. He took another friend and they pulled it to a local Kmart parking lot and dropped it there. He had some grand plans to fix it up and sell it, but that never happened. Before he could follow through, the Kmart closed and the truck got towed away. No one knows where it is now.

I've driving a ford ranger, very good truck, my dad used to have a Mazda B2500 I believe it was, which basically is a Ford Ranger and it was a great truck, although it lacked power.

I think the Ford Ranger is a good buy but the major challenge would be maintaining it, especially now that gas prices are going up. Having a Ford Ranger would be a headache.
