Can I sue the Diagnostic center who gave a clean chit for my used car.?

Hi,

I purchased a used car after doing a diagnostic check (pre-sale inspection) in a reputed sevice station in bay area. They checked out and told me the car is in very good shape - no issues atall.

Now after the purchase i found that this car was invovled in a major crash earlier. Few bodyshop's that i took the car for verification commonly agreed that its not safe to drive the car - because if there is going to be another accident in the same place the structure will cave in pretty badly as the original issue was never fixed properly.

The frame is still bent, the allignment of the car is not proper and that if I still have to drive, then I should never put anybody in the back of the car to keep them safe as the accident was in the trunk area.

Now can I sue the diagnostic center in small claims court for the damages, since they informed me that the car is in good shape - which was one of the main decision making reasons why i purchased this car.
