Cars in the1960's?

What kind of cars did regular people drive back in the 1960's? I need to know for a school project, so any help would be greatly appreciated!! :]

My first car was a 1967 Chevy Nova. I got it used for $400. I was the third owner. It had a lot of get up and go! In fact, one day I was driving it years later (1978) and a guy pulled up next to me and offered me $1,000. I sold it to him. He wanted it for a stock car (racing). He said it was a light weight car with a large engine capacity so he could put a big engine in it for racing. I still see a few Chevy Novas from the 60's...I still think they're cool.

The Chevy Corvette, Ford Galaxy and 500, Chevy Impala, Ford Mustang, and Thunderbird, Ford vans, Chrysler Super Bee, Dodge Challenger. Volkswagen Beetle and Microbus, before there were mini vans.
