whats up with porche and being so expensive?

ive looked at the new 911 turbo, they are 150,000! why are they somuch, if they didnt cost so much more people would get them, whats the point in getting a 150,000 porche when you can wait for the new corvette zr1 that can smoke the porche(around 600hp) and cost only around 100,000
