Returning a lease car due to mechanical problem?

I have a lease car for over 3 months and has 2440 miles. I have taken it three times to the dealership due to a mechanical issue. They held it for up to a week at times trying to resolve the issue, but the problem always to appear everytime i drive it 2 -3 times. Is it possible for me to return the car and just walk away. Currently the car is acting up again and going for my 4th service!! PLEASE ADVISE

You cannot just return the car. There is a lemon law of which you may qualify. Ask you dealer for details regarding this. Lemon Law is the only way to return the car.

I agree. You signed a lease and are bound to the terms of the lease, regardless of any mechanical problems. Check your states lemon laws, it sounds as though you may be a candidate for lemon law protection.
