Default 1995 Ford Mustang COBRA-R, what would be a fair purchase/sell price?

This car is a TRUE cobra R. 1 owner. Only 250 made in 1995. The only down side to the car is that the owner was forced into having to use it as a daily driver for a bit so it has approx 40,000 miles. If you know about the car you know its not one you can find pricing at cars.com etc. The car is owned by a close friend of mine who is going to possibly have to sell it, so im trying to find info for him...

Reasonably? I wouldn't offer more than around $5000 for it.

You may not consider it a fair sell price, but fair also takes into account the buyer's idea of fair. And $5k sounds fair to me.

Even if you could price it out via cars.com, or KBB, etc....those are suggested prices...not the prices that people will actually pay.

Though, I suppose you'll pick the answer that has the highest dollar value. So....I'll offer you $45,000 for it. At that point, it's no longer the least bit fair to me, but it'll satisfy your wallet.

I like the guy you chose on the other one though. All hyped up about a car. So it's a Cobra-R? Looks like a Mustang to me.

A $5,000 Mustang.

That would be a huge bargain, I'd think. I like the Cobra R. I question his intelligence. If it's really worth only $5000, you can easily see the force wasn't very forceful. He gained nothing financially by doing that. "Being forced" as you say. He must have lost a bet or something.

He drove it "for a bit" for 40,000 miles? that means it's been parked in the weather 2000 or 3000 times, doesn't it. Hmmmm. I'd still snap that up for $5000.
