Default Suzuki Swift Engine Oil Question?

hi i have a suzuki swift 1990, two days back i had the oil changed and after two days i smelled a little burnt oil smell and saw two or three drops of oil on the road, i checked the oil level with the dipstick and it was a little above the second mark... is it possible that it may spit out excess oil? otherwise all is good. there was oil on the engine head too like it spit out excess oil, whats that
