Red blinking light issue 2005 Chrysler 300 Touring 3.5?

I left my car in the garage for two days with the key in the ignition but not turned at all. When I went to turn the car on it started for a few seconds and then died. We attempted to jump start the car but eventually the motor wouldn't even turn over and all electronic systems shut down. I replaced the battery and then went to start the car. All of the electronics are working again but I have a blinking red light now below the fuel gauge and a (electric volt) symbol lit up on the dash. I just would like to know what I need to do in order to get the car started again. It is parked in the garage front end in and all of the fuses are fine. PLEASE HELP! This car has been nothing but trouble!!
