 We have an 08 corolla, anybody know what popping sounds are in front end? It has 23k miles and has started making this popping noise in the front end within the past 6k miles. It seems to happen after it sits overnight or a few hours. It happens when brakes are applied and when going over bumps at slow speeds 5-25mph. I also notice it when I stop then backup then go forward and stop, back and forth..Could it be the calipers moving back and forth when brakes are applied, or maybe bushings in front end. If its brakes-why is doing this-pads have approx. 1/3 left on them..The dealership says to bring it in, they need to see it, they dont know either...THANKS      |
