Default If I get a remanufactured engine installed in my 1997 Lincoln Town Car...?

Does anything change on the odometer?

In any sense, is a remanufactured engine considered anywhere close to "good as new"?

I'm not planning on reselling it or anything. But the 280K miles that are on the odometer now would be a bit distracting...
