 The PT was to have a look somewhat reminiscent of the 1940s era cars, (Chevy, FORD, Plymouth, Hudson) that were often chopped and lowered by hot rodders in the 1950s and 1960s. The 1948 Chevy was a classic car.      |

| why are pt. cruisers so ugly? I mean who even buys these cars theyre so ugly. I know they were trying to go for a 50's look but they still look like crap. I have the same opinion about dodge magnums because they look eghh. Anyone agree? oh and dont get me started on the pt cruiser convertables. |
