Default 94 pontiac bonneville engine interchangeable into 95 buick lesabre?

I have a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville that has the K-frame mount rusted out. Is it possible to install this engine in the 1995 Buick LeSabre? The 8th character in each vin-code is a "L". I am under the impression that these to engines should be interchangeable but I would like a mechanics opinion. Will there be any issues(wiring)? Thanks for your time
