I need and I'm seeking car advice plz help me?

Got in an accident 2months ago total loss I just got my settlement chk for 4,600 my car was a 2002 mitsubishi galant 90k miles the damage is on the radiator, fender, hood and frame the hood is smushed though it was still drivable. my dad wants to fix it .. Is it even worth fixing it?? Should I just buy a car instead and use that money as a down payment? I dnt have a job I got laid off 2months ago.so I honestly don't know what to do or if I even can buy one (I am currently getting unemployment $) help w advice?!

I don't think you can get approved for a loan if you are unemployed. Looks like fixing your current vehicle is the only option.
