help with buying motorcycle with no title...?

Yes, I've just seen all the negative comments about a buying a vehicle without a title, but right now i'm the top (and... yes... only) bidder for a very cheap (but accurately priced) '79 motorcycle. I just realized the page says he has no title. My question is what are my options? Is there a way for me to get a title in my state (SC, the bike is in PA) without him having the title, is it difficult to get a title, is it illegal to buy a vehicle without a title, and am I able to buy insurance without a title? The seller does have several positive reviews, so it seems unusual that he would all of a sudden decide to screw someone...

i would say call your local DMV and ask them.
Get the vin mumber from the bike and give it to the dmv and they should be able to tell you if it is stolen or not.
If its not stolen, i have heard of rebuilding titles.
Also the DMV should be able to tell you if there is any leans on the bike.
that would be your best option in my opinion if your seriously interested.
