Default Which car is better? 1995 SL500 or 2001 C320?

Hi. I'm in the market for a relatively cheap, used Mercedes Benz. It has come down to a 1995 SL500 or 2001 C320. Both are priced around $9k, both have clean CARFAX reports, both have about 75k miles on them. Obviously if this were between identical years, the SL would be my choice, but realistically, in a car that will be driven mostly weekends and less than 10,000 miles/year, which is a better buy?
