Default 1967 Cougar: Quetion about putting a 429 Engine in it?

I have a 1967 Mercury Cougar, I have found a 429 engine out of a 1969 Ford Thunderbird, would that 429 bolt up to my car, or would it take some fabrication? Also the 429 engine has a c6 trans, would that bolt up or not? The car was an orginal 390 car.
