Default Chrysler Town and Country 09?

I recently took off the stock wheels and replaced with winter rims and snow tires. I know that the tpms would not be operational with the winter tires but so far no warning light has come on. When I turn on the ignition, the warning light comes on to indicate it's working but then turns off. What gives?
