How many hatch struts (lift arms) for rear hatch on 1999 Dodge Durango SLT?

I have one broken one on it now, but I'm not sure I should replace that one, or if the Durango takes 2? Just need to know if it uses one or two. Thanks!

It takes two, I recommend replacing them in pairs.

I've never seen a hatch on any car model or manufacturer take less than 2 and no more than 2. You must be a novice when it comes to cars.
