2002 corolla, somebody help please!!!!!?

i am a tech, i have this 2002 corolla with the drl relay smoking, i have gone through all the wires, the grounds are good, replaced multi function switch, sun load sensor, drl relay, tail relay, everything checks out goodbut i can put a new drl relay (module) in and everytime i start the car, the bright light indicator starts flashing and as soon as i turn on the headlight switch, the drl relay module smokes, our techs have worked on this car for months and of course i end up with it and ive been on it a couple days and just cant figure it out. any input is greatly appriciated.
