 how do you disassemble a rear axle in 1967 impala? Ok so i replaced my wheel seal and already pulled out the axle shaft (just one side didnt do anything to the other side), I put everthing back together (axle shaft, the C clamp on shaft and put diff pinion shaft back in filled up with fluid ) So then when I started car in neutral, everthing good until I put in park and I hear gears grinding. Only grinds in park, NOT reverse neutral or drive. Does anyone might have an idea what I did wrong? Can you tell me what I might need to do or check?      |
