 1987 Ford Tempo complex ignition issue? I have a 1987 Ford Tempo GL it idles fine, all 4 cylinders have spark, with the SPOUT circuit disconnected at the distributor. When I connect the SPOUT circuit (enabling spark advance) the center 2 cylinders have no spark. I have already replaced the ignition module on the distributor, the stepper motor on the throttle body (needed one anyway), and the EEC. I have tested it with the new and old EEC and get code 11(Everything works fine). The car has about 90,000 miles and when i got it it looked like it had been sitting for a long time. I would greatly appreciate some help.      |
