how to unlock my ignision switch on my 2001 chevy cavalier?

key wont turn itjust locked on me

turn the steering wheel a little bit and hold it while you turn the key. as long as the steering wheel is barely loose enough it should unlock the device that causes the key to not rotate. hope that helps
