I drive a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee w/ automatic transmission and transmission...

...won't shift.? I've been having shifting problems just recently. Sometimes it will go past 40mph but most of the times it seems like it does not wanna shift past 40mph. I've heard from other people who has or had the same kind of jeep and they say that it has something to do with adjusting the computer of the trans or the T.V. Cable. I just have no clue and no $2000 to rebuild the damn thing. somebody help please.

and yes I have checked the fluid level and it is full. I probrably might need to replace the filters. I dunno
