lpg filling in the uk what can go wrong?

hi guys i have a berlingo 1.4i lpg van and i live in scotland so uk pump type i was wondering what can go wrong when filling or when using

because when i went to my local pump i put in £10 let go and it wouldn't stop i had to press the button 3-4 times before it would stop

blow a pop off valve maybe leakage maybe burned fingers maybe fire
