Are Volkswagen's good cars?

there german so there good....but few years ago they had electric problems ..i like em
im planning to trade in my car for the scirocco

VW's are well designed, but tend to be more expensive than average, with reliability that is just average, no more. No more reliable than your average American car. If you want reliability, buy Japanese. The best of the Japanese is Toyota. VW is certainly not Toyota.

Consumer Reports puts out a book every year that tracks the reliability of cars. It's pretty good thing to look at before buying.
