88 Honda CRX HF, Fuel Pump 2 Way Valve - What is it, what does it do, can I bypass

it? I have been trying to track down a fuel problem, it's much like the Main Relay issue, but it's not. Replaced two of them already, that and the fuel pump, two fuel filters, etc. It starts up fine, when cold. Runs great. I drive it around, turn it off, and it WON'T START WHEN WARM! ...After trying to start it for approximately 5/10 mins...I hear a Ffffffupp!! Then (and ONLY THEN) the car will start and run fine, like nothing ever happened! I am certain, it is a fuel issue...as it will start, then die out in a second or two... Checked vacuum, fuel pressure, fuel level full... It seems to be worse when I released the gas tank pressure...WHAT THE HECK IS IT!!!???
How many valves are there in this fuel system?
