Default change my existing engine or stroker kit it?

I have a 67 Impala with a 350 engine.

There is no power because the car is very heavy.

I would like it to have a lot more power then it has now but a lot of people tell me different things.

Like either I should stroker kit it to a 383 or just change the entire engine to a 427.

Dont want anything bigger then a 427 because the frame will not support anything bigger.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
