Has anybody fit the dashboard from a late model Expedition into a 1997-2003...
...F-150 Pick up? I have a freshly repainted 1999 Ford F-150 XL still undergoing restoration. I want to change the dashboard and install a new one like that in the current Expedition. I also want to fit the hood, grill, headlights, front bumper and door mirrors as in the 2008 Expedition to create something unique. I have noticed that Ford has only facelifted the Expedition, and added IRS since since originally launching the SUV version of the F-150 ten years ago.
With an up to date dashboard I can then have a factory nav. system and other modern frills. Has anybody ever fitted a 2006-2008 Expedition dash into a 1997-2003 F-150 cab? It does look very possible. Please reply ASAP.
