the CAR is. The production of the car is not.

Look at the chemicals and factories that are churning out the batteries. Then when they reach their half-life in about 8 yrs - how will they be disposed of? in todays market, those batteries are about 6-7k to replace too.

The Prius is environmentally friendly. In addition to having exceptional gas mileage, the car turns off when stopped to reduce emissions. The car is also classified as a PZEV (Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle)

it burns gas and costs a lot to produce...[in terms of materials] but it gets good milage and is the best hybred made...
