Visual difference between a 1970 and 1979 Chevy 350 4-bolt engine?

I cannot reach the rear engine ID code but I have gotten an RPO code which tells me I have either a 1970 or 1979 4-bolt Chevy 350. Is there a visual difference between the 2 engines? For example, sensor location, dipstick location; etc..
