Default What is going on with my 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis?

I go to start my car this morning and it won't start. Instead, it kinda makes a clicking noise. The radio worked for a bit, but now just about none of the electronics work. Problem is, when I take the key out of the ignition, the alarm goes off and wont turn off, as my key-chain won't work. So right now the car won't start, the key can't be taken out of the ignition and my battery might die, because a couple lights are still on.
