My 2002 Mercury Cougar is hrowing up a P1131.The shop keep replacing the

mass air flow sensor.Is this right? My 2002 V6 Automatic has had the check engine light come on 5 times in the last year. The dealership keeps telling me it is a faulty mass air flow sensor. They have replaced this several times. Now, only a week after the last reapir the check engine light is on again, same code. What should I do?

if you have an advanced auto around they will scan for free and get 2ed idea--either way you need a 2ed person to test it and have your catalytic converter checked at the same time-those ck engine lites are connected to 1000's of things -good luck
