Default American Hybrid?

Does anyone think we will see an American-made compact hybrid in the future? Something like the prius? I know there are some American hybrids on the road, but there is nothing that comes close to matching the mileage of the Prius.

That is a good news if it so but where you have heard about it ? I think Prius is the most known American vehicle in Hybrid Technology .

I think that right now, the American companies are concentrating on their Flex Fuel cars. I live in metro Detroit and there are quite a few cars on the road now using Flex Fuel, at least in my area.

I think that more Amercian hybrids will be out soon. I think that they will be bigger. The prius is a very small and light car, and therefore gets unbelivable gas milage.

Does anyone know of any specific Hybrids under development. Americans seem to like power in their vehicles. For a Hybrid to really make it big, I think it will have to be efficient without sacrificing too much performance.

But it will take a lot of time , If they already have started thinking about it then it will be out soon .

Probably. In this modern age, nothing is impossible already.

I think it's essential to have one, with the US contributing the majority of pollution in the world...
